It is with great sadness that I share this news with you. Longtime coach and friend of Mashpee baseball, Bob Poulin, passed away this morning with family by his side. Coaches impact to Mashpee, Hudson, and Lincoln-Sudbury baseball will never be forgotten. All HS BB will miss him.

Mashpee pounded out 15 hits in a 6-2 opening round victory vs Avon. All 9 Starters had a hit with Will Baker and Jagger Bryant collecting 3 hits each. Bryant pitched a complete game 2 runs, both earned, 2 walks, 8 strikeouts. Zach Rogers made 3 outstanding plays at shortstop.

Today marks the one-year anniversary of the passing of beloved Hall of Fame Coach Bob Poulin. Coach Poulin still remains in our thoughts and prayers. He wants us to get back to baseball as he needs something to watch up in heaven. He expects great things from Mashpee baseball.

Congratulations to Freddie Hanna one of this year's recipient of the Roger Scudder Scholarship Award. The sportsmanship award is giving out yearly by the local umpires association. A job well done. The last Mashpee player to receive this award was Tyler Shute in 2007.

It is with great sadness I share the passing of Mike NcGrail, father of Tassia ‘23 (soccer, track & lacrosse) & Michael ‘25 (soccer & baseball). Mike’s long battle with cancer came to an end this morning. His love for his wife & children are his greatest legacy.Details to follow.

Last Wednesday, the Mashpee school committee voted 5-0 to allow the baseball team to again travel to Florida for its bi-annual trip to the Jackie Robinson Training Complex, formally known as Dodgertown in the spring of 2023. The baseball team is grateful for this opportunity.
