Last term our Year 12 BTEC and A-Level Business students benefited from an insightful session delivered by a local mortgage broker. Students thoroughly enjoyed the session and were able to understand the realities of getting onto the property ladder.

Our KS5 Media students recently participated in a lovely trip as part of the Into Film Festival again this year, transforming an ordinary school day into an extraordinary cinematic experience.

Yr 11 & 12 students took part in the @StreetGames Basketball Activator course last week! Providing the skills for our leaders to run fun sessions for young people in our community #GiveMoreBecomeMore

We were very fortunate to invite Chaandni Balachandran to the school, who is a 5th year medical student at Imperial College London. She gave our students valuable insights into the different career paths after studying medicine. We look forward to her visiting again!

The Anti-Bullying Alliance invited students across the country to nominate members of staff who they believed went above and beyond. Ms Hurt, Assistant Headteacher for Attendance & Behaviour was nominated and went on to win the award! Well done Ms Hurt!

As part of our work in supporting our Year 11 students with their preparations for their GCSE exams, all students took part in a study skills workshop with Maximize. Our students were focused throughout their session and their feedback was positive!

Our Yr8 & Yr13 students attended the @LdnYouthGames Inspire West festival today! Taking part in activities including Triathlon, squash, skipping & handball #THISISLYG

Last term our KHS Debate Club looked across the Atlantic to the upcoming US Presidential election, as representatives of the Kamala Harris and Donald Trump campaigns made their pre-election pitches to students. What followed was a well-attended and high-quality debate!
