The digital divide in SA is still to great, caused by the economic inequality. To assume you have internet and Twitter so traditional media is dying is a long shot at the moment. Yes digital content will grow, but long as we’re unequal so will the divide.
Your spirit will always know the difference between the place where you set a tent and the place where you lay your foundation and build your house. Don’t settle. 💫
The fact that we can’t afford another hard lockdown shows you how expensive poverty is. We have to keep the economy afloat, and lose lives in the process. The current system needs to be demolished.

Point is not who builds, it’s the fact that people say batho ba Limpopo want to convince they have money but that’s flawed because they actually do. They aren’t convincing anyone. It’s just there.
One of my favorite experiences during October was being invited as a guest judge at the

Varsity Pitch 2020 Competition. Absolutely inspired by all the entrepreneurs, and congratulations to all the winners. 🎉.
The National Youth ICT Council congratulates Ms. Kemoneiloe Phatoli on her appointment as a member of the Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment ICT Sector Council!

As youth of South Africa, we and descendants are going to inherit the constitution and its economy. In the very least, we ought to be aware and interested in the affairs that concern our future.
This reasoning contributes to people burning towers ultimately. Using fear to introduce technologies without assessing integration and solutions for inclusion.
The National Youth ICT Council’s Kim Phatoli was the spokesperson of the delegation at the UN plaza with a meeting with the US department of State. The meeting was to unpack opportunities for women entrepreneurs across the globe and to build collaboration for support & funding …

. It’ll be R1200 per month so these rural areas you’re saying are missing out, can’t even afford it. BEE has various ways of empowerment, they just refuse to be part. It’s ok. There are alternatives.
On the 14th May 2024 the Department of Public Service Administration hosted a Systems development stakeholder engagement which I was honoured to be a part of. The
@YouthICTCouncil
was invited to unpack how youth are enablers for growth in innovation.
It’s an honour to facilitate this engagement by the department. It is geared to assist and enable SMMEs in the ICT industry, ensuring we leave no one behind.

Over and above, I pray healing and restoration for those who’ve lost. I pray for renewed strength for those who’d lost hope, and I pray everyone is aligned with their purpose and calling, aligned with their grace and walking in fulfillment.
If you didn’t vote, I don’t understand the reason. Perhaps we need more voter education than campaigns, this democracy was costly. We can’t continue like this 🥴.
Don’t be fooled, nothings cute about bootstrapping. Glorying struggle is problematic. Lack of resources limits access to some, if not many opportunities. Yes sometimes you need to, but if not then don’t.
*I am not a motivational speaker* however when I had to deregister from WITS as a first year student and get a job due to financial reasons I really was devastated.. I was certain it might be the end of the world, It was the beginning of a testimony.
I’m honored to serve the generation I’m a part of, and those to come. I’m honored to be a part of a group that’s taking accountability for our state of affairs.
When you look at people who seem they’ve “made it” or people who’ve built something, understand they’ve probably gotten a lot more “No” than “yes” in their lives. Keep going.
