@totalgamer66860 He's a first-class douchebag, and Amanda has the charisma of a wet blanket. Somehow, you can be an asshole and date both of them. Max comes off as weirdly horny throughout the game, and the romance is pretty terrible even if you forget about Chloe. Weird game.

@atiralexx I don't think that's really up for debate. Everyone knows they're endgame - the writers have practically confirmed it. What people should be concerned about is the journey getting there, instead of placing blind faith in the writers.

@shqkabrah Chloe is a complex, interesting character and the love of Max's life. Safi, on the other hand, is a knockoff of Chloe who just wants to become a god. Safi could have been developed so much better.

@xxodejaxxo @thelittlenai This is from Max’s journal in the game. The story has two timelines, and she’s dating different people in each one because one of them wouldn’t date her in the other timeline. It’s optional, but it’s strange, it makes Max a cheater, and she gets caught doing it.

When a character behaves in a way that goes against their established traits, the audience notices, it breaks immersion.
