I don't care if my baby is scared of snakes. I am scared of snakes. If a snake approaches my child, I will treat it with harsh, unfavorable bias. My plan is to tell fairytales to my children where a snake is always the villain so my prejudice will live on in them. Indiana Jones ain't got nothing on me.

Human babies do not fear snakes. It appears that snakes do not fear human babies either.

@BlazeBinges Technically this was the symbiote vs the Sinister Six. Peter was asleep at the wheel.

@KnightFall691 @darkestmattah The thing is, some people attribute the word "woke" to definitions like "a good person" or "a person who cares about minorities", so they think it's accurate to describe every character and historical figure who's viewed in a positive way as woke.

@darkestmattah The various versions of Spider-Man that I've followed don't meet my definition of "woke". I think he wouldn't meet most people's definition of the word, but it's been so morphed at this point, the argument practically becomes moot.

Not an expert, but I don't think hair gel is supposed to warp your head, grow your neck and tighten your outfit.

@YoungKaiser3 I'm just annoyed at all the twitter posts saying "This fictional character agrees with my opinions!" when it's clearly a character who would disagree or wouldn't care.

I might need to rewatch this film series, but I seem to recall that Tink was perfectly happy being a tinker until someone else belittled her gift and told her she wouldn't be able to go to the mainland. Also, weren't the tinkers responsible for keeping the other fairies organized and ready? One of the things Tink says is that tinkers are just like fast flying fairies, in that they both help every other fairy available. I always interpreted the film as saying tinkers had one of the most important but also one of the least flashy jobs. Also also, "special power" is relative. Tinkers don't seem special to us because we humans can do what they do and not the other fairies, but such a talent would still be special to fairies since not everyone can do it. What would happen if all the tinker fairies just up and disappeared? None of their specially-crafted tools would be available, which would slow down the season transitions. The other fairies literally can't fix/design things just like how Tink can't do their jobs. (Though I think they can build them if a tinker shows them how, for some reason) ...okay, this has made me curious, I definitely need to rewatch these movies. Gonna feel really stupid if they address the things I said and prove me completely wrong.

one thing that bugged me from the tinkerbell universe besides the plot holes was the fact that some fairies are born with cool special powers and some are born to be a glorified construction worker. if i was tink, id be mad too.

@sleepy_devo It's relevant to the conversation, yes, but you claimed it was a "counter" while responding to my point despite it not debunking anything I had said. That's why I responded by saying the point is irrelevant to your original claim but still valid criticism against Seamus' joke.

@Verz5 @sleepy_devo I don't expect anyone to have common sense because I don't have common sense. I was actually taught in my Interface Design class not to expect common sense from people. I just saw someone misunderstanding the intent of a joke and comedy is something I feel I'm fairly versed in.

Irrelevant to your original claim which was that Seamus was being hypocritical for mocking the idea of the government spying on its citizens because it's a take he would normally be against. What you seem to be saying now is that Seamus' joke doesn't work because the tweet he's responding to is clearly concerned about Elon specifically, not the government, having access to SSNs in the first place, not how he got it, which is a valid criticism, just not what was brought up earlier.

@FTheroizer @raveryn I genuinely don't know. The only posts from it I see are from Snyder fans who hate it on arrival because it's not Snyder.

Many consider him to be "black coded", aka, he's meant to represent a black person through his mannerism even though he himself isn't actually black. A lot of characters get this label by fans, but I think the best examples that virtually no one will argue with are the fish from Shark Tale.
