Well-deserved! Definitely worth attending.
Wow! Our course on using MRI to optimize brain stim accepted for #OHBM2025. So cool. I've wanted to go to Australia at least since 6th grade... šØš¦šŖ

@PessoaBrain Always been a fan of Dunbar, but agree with you @pessoabrain, the limbic brain is crucial and maybe evolved to support complex social life in primates 10.1016/j.neuropsychologia.2014.08.013

That seems to be enough to buy gains in longevity and brain and heart health. At least 150min/week is doable.
Analysis of 116 RCTs shows the duration of weekly exercise is linearly associated with body weight & body fat up to ~300 min (5 hours) of exercise per week. ā”ļø#exercise #health #weightloss

@ImagingNeurosci @bttyeo Psychedelics promote bottom up processing to the level of top down processing. That should enhance the sensory experience.

Seems so obvious, now. Well done. Yin and yang.
In the action-mode, arousal is heightened, attention focused externally, and plans are converted to goal-directed movements and updated based on feedback, such as pain. The brainās action-mode is created by a dedicated action-mode network (AMN) In the brainās mode continuum, the AMNās action-mode sits opposite the DMNās default-mode for self-referential processing, counterbalancing each other as yin & yang. AMN dysfunction might be key in pain, apathy, Parkinsonās, etc. New NRN piece with Marc Raichle & @gordonneuro. Short š§µ ā¬ļø
