So I decided I wanted to start eating better. No to lose weight… but I just don’t eat that well and I was like “hmm this probs isn’t great for my heart, my blood pressure, or my cholesterol.” . Every time I googled “heart healthy meals” they were geared toward weight loss.

My Uncle, Michael Faulks, passed away from COVID-19. My uncle was a teacher in Cherokee County Schools and a Pastor at Summer Hill AME Church in Rome, GA. Please pray for his family’s strength. And pray for mine. I am absolutely gutted, angry, and heartbroken.

After I lost my mom, I was living in my childhood home, for the first time without her. I was constantly finding things around the house that revealed something new. Among those things was an index card she wrote her goals on and signed. I got the signature inked today.
