Last couple days’ foreign cards discourse makes me not want to play paper mtg in NA anymore as they are basically saying that I’m their inconvenience. “Mtg should be inclusive” seems only matter for NA players who primally( only) speak English.

Americans have the same ideas already, but many Americans can’t afford missing work and many Americans have to work more than 2 jobs to pay bills. They simply can’t afford attending Protests and strikes both money and time( and energy)….
American media is extremely quiet about the protests and strikes in France. I guess corporations don’t want the American people to get any ideas.

Story time of today: my Yorion opp received 2 warnings by accidentally flipped their deck and I also received warning by dropping cards while cut and shuffling. Something is telling me Yorion was not meant for paper mtg especially with double sleeve…..

マジックって安くはない趣味だとは思うけど安く楽しむ方法はいくらでもあってそういったところは無視して「このゲームは高すぎる」って言っている人達は自分達の発信の方が新規が参入しない、または人がやめていく理由になる事を今一度考えた方が良いよ。

知的障害や2次障害が伴わない発達は実家が太ければ優れた部分を上手く伸ばして優秀に育つ傾向にあるのもありますね。高学歴高収入の中で引っかかりやすいのもそういった理由だと思います。

最近はそれも差別につながるから表では絶対に言わない印象です。日本のように歯医者に気軽に行ける値段でもないので歯が綺麗なのはステータスにはなりますね。そういった意味では医療費がアメリカよりも安い日本で生まれたアドバンテージを活かさない手はないということですね。

アメリカ在住の日本人は「ニューヨークは東京の2週間後の姿」みたいなこと言っていましたが日本は世界的にも見て封じ込めに成功している例ですからね。その代償として経済がと言われていますが他の国と比べてもそこまでダメージが大きかったように思えません(これに関しては主観ですが)

アメリカはインフレが進みすぎて日本以上に厳しいという事実を知らないでこういうツイートをしてしまうほどの無能だから給料が上がらないのでは。あと「給料が上がっていない日本」というよりも円安の影響。あと日本でも給料が上がっている人は上がっている。
iPhone値上げの件、憎むべきはAppleじゃなくて、給料が30年も上がってない日本。
給料が上がっている欧米の人にとっては普通の事だろうな。

アメリカも訳が分からない基準のドレスコードがあったりしますが日本の方がひどいですね。髪を染めることに関してはナチュラルカラーはダメなところもあるみたいですが日本の場合は生まれつき少し髪の色が茶色いだけでも黒染めさせられたりしますから(髪染めが校則違反なはずなのに本末転倒)。

ほんの少し前までは奴隷制も合法で女性に選挙権も無かった。異人種間の結婚も認められていませんでしたし同性婚も2015年までは認められていなかった。法律はアップデートされていくものであって不動のものではないというのが分からない人が多いですね。

そうですね。アメリカの差別やイジメを経験すると日本のイジメなんて可愛いものですね。勿論現在日本で辛い思いをされている方の経験を否定するつもりはありませんがトータル面では鍛えられて良い経験になったと思うし日本のいい部分を再確認する機会にもなったと思っています。

リプレイ欄を見る限り結構多くの人がMOのアカウントがハッキングされて資産を失うという被害を受けているようなので至急パスワードの変更をした方が良さそうです。”account setting”-“edit password”と進んで変更可能です。
MOのパスワードの変更がまだの人は防犯のためになるべく分かりにくいユニークなパスワードに変更した方がいいとのこと

Talk about safety, Last month, when I was leaving for Japan traveling, I got deck checked by TSA and the officer roughly went through my legacy deck box, I was more worried about if they don’t damage my legacy deck than potentially missing my flight…..

差別や「多様性」にうるさいと思われているアメリカの現実。アメリカの歯医者にかかる金額は半端ではないのにもかかわらず歯並びでジャッジされるということからも如何にその「多様性」が単なる政治的アピールやパフォーマンスだということが分かる。
「将来アメリカで働きたいなら、TOEICの点数よりも歯並びの方が大事だよ」と前からしつこく言っているのですが、なぜか誰にも信じてもらえません。

Honestly as minority in mtg community, I have been nothing but positive experience in Legacy community and how inclusive legacy community is one of reasons I still play mtg. Yes we could always do better, but I don’t think eternal formats are specially “worse”.
Competitive Magic formats still have massive barriers to entry for non-male or POC players and it's worse with eternal formats!🤔
Many players still have many unconscious biases which they could address but either don't want or, don't care to or want it that way.
Plz do better!
