@Boenau I’d pipe road noise back in. I can’t talk to my kids walking side by side along noisy roads, but the noise-makers have zero idea of their impact

Too weak, Sadiq! TfL's proposals for the 2nd most dangerous junction for cycling in London in Shoreditch are straight out the 90s. Tell @MayorofLondon @willnorman & TfL to do better, be bolder here in just 1 minute!

@BrightonHoveCC Within a ten-minute walk of every household (maximum) and see Living Streets guidance on supporting walking with benches & perches. Thanks. That makes a round trip of 20 mins - so shorter ideally for 15-min liveability.

As we move into the next chapter of Haringey's LTNs, Cllr @mikehakata highlights their positive impact. 🌳 The Bounds Green, St Ann's, and Bruce Grove West Green LTNs were given the green light to continue. Let's keep working together for a fairer, greener borough.

Hands up who’d recommend their child, young person, wife, or mother use the Grand Union Canal Paddington branch after dark? That’s 4.30pm for some months - we don’t stop going to work or events all winter, y’know. Anyone? @London_Cycling #womensnetwork
@willnorman @TfL This is the Paddington westward @CanalRiverTrust canal path. It is not suitable for cycling It is very narrow in places & not well maintained through @Brent_Council i.e. Alperton. I stopped using it altogether due to multiple punctures thanks to the frequency of broken glass

100% this. Disabled people get so little help for equitable lives - decent wheelchairs is a basic ask to move closer to equitable mobility - it is utterly offensive that non-disabled people now wish to decide on their ability to make death easier to access than equitable life

@HackneyBikeFit @SmithiesMark @willnorman @TfL Yep, it accounts for their total ‘delivered cycle lane to date’ in NW London, only EVERYONE knows (a) it’s been there c200 yrs (b) TfL adopting it has changed diddly squat on the ground, not even access points. Well it’s not theirs, is it? It belongs to canal & rivers trust.

@GingaGill @TrevMu10 @rowkz @BrightonRace It’s lovely, isn’t it? It was useful as a green space by flats/apartments, but not achieving its potential. Now it has an area of raised beds to grow food, trees, shrubs, planting, and a new gravel path going in. And lots of community compost bins! Totally brilliant.
