A piece of Roman tegula, fired between AD 200 - 300. As it was being semi-dried in the sun before going in the kiln, a chicken wandered across it, followed by a puppy! A couple of single moments in time.

Personally I’ve newly learned that Japan was described as a place without cattle or horses in a Chinese Historical book, San Gui Zhi. Korean people are thought to have brought cattle and horses to Japan.
