When I went to Tammy Murphy to tell her I was raped, she blew me off. Now, she’s hired Maggie Moran. A disturbing pattern of silencing survivors and enabling abuse.
So, let me get this straight...Moran was looped into all of the planning calls to protect Cuomo & shit all over his victims...She's now the campaign manager to Tammy, who failed a survivor when they came forward about being raped by an aide to Tammy's husband.

In Nov 2013, I walked into the Ritz to meet Phil and Tammy Murphy. To my eternal regret, I agreed to get him the Dem nomination for gov. That decision was the worst of my life, bar none. Today, the long nightmare for me and other women the Murphys targeted is finally over.

Systemic racism means you could get rid of the individual leaders and the system would still have racist outcomes. If our leaders don’t know that, they are the problem.
This makes me think some people don't understand how systemic racism works. It's not about any one individual, it's about systems, processes & practices that deny communities & ppl of color real power, participation & opportunity. Acknowledging that shouldn't be a radical thing.

This decision is deeply disappointing and sends a terrible message to survivors of sexual violence. New Jersey deserves an AG representing the highest standards of ethics and the legal profession. We can do better.
