There has not been a trial or conviction yet. The wheels of justice turn slowly. Trial still pending, though.
If they're not proven to be a flight risk, then there's no grounds to hold them in jail while awaiting trial.
It's all a part of due process.

Menstrual cycle:
the process of ovulation and menstruation in women and other female primates.
Men don't ovulate nor menstruate.
Cramps & mood swings are symptoms of the menstrual cycle, not the period.

I homeschool my granddaughter. She's usually at her desk by 11am, after a full night of sleep. Her school days usually last about 4 hours, 4 days a week. She gets about 1½ year's worth done per year, and tests about 3-4 years ahead of her age, except math in which she's average.

There's a difference between using it to improve chronic illness & glorifying being loaded all the time.
I grow my own, use it topically more than consuming it, but both uses work wonders. I've changed many minds simply by being a good example; someone who uses it responsibly.

I battled adult cystic acne (genetic). Smoking definitely made it worse. Switching to vaping turned that around.
Yeah, I know, anecdotal... lol

In the '90s & '00s, my son wasn't allowed to defend himself from school bullies. I told him to do it, anyway. He got suspended 3 times for defending himself, and I told him to enjoy his vacation. No one gets to tell my kids to lie there and take it!
