Turning 40 doesn’t have to mean declining fitness and an expanding waistline.
I’ve created a free training video to help you feel 10 years younger.

I can honestly say how much it hurts to lose a World Cup final.
It broke me and I thought about it every day for 4 years.
Be kind and support our players. They gave EVERYTHING in that final and deserve support
Honesty post-
Yesterday I was broken.
After horrid comments online I felt insecure and anxious.
It makes me sad that strangers have the power to do this.
I will continue to highlight these trolls in the hope it will make the pathway easier in the future for athletic women.
3 reasons you need to up your protein intake:..
1. You want to lose body fat
2. You want to build muscle
3. You are hungry all the time
DM ‘guide’ for our high protein 5 day meal plan
Thanks for all the kind comments and messages after yesterdays trolling.
I try to fill my content with positivity and it’s lovely to hear from people who have found it helpful or motivating.
@AllBlacks
Why celebrate world champions black ferns on international women’s day when instead you can post about male players guilty of domestic abuse being grateful for the women who allow them to play. Do better

Femininity and Muscle.
I’ve always been athletic but after years of being called ‘manly’ or ‘huge’ I started hiding my arms.
Then I realised, people judge regardless so who cares?
I train to be fit and strong. So call me a unit- I’m confident and I’ll take it as a compliment 💪
My thoughts from the final-
Eng put in an incredible shift with 14 players.
Black ferns know how to show up for big games.
Refereeing consistency over cards was poor.
It’s Shocking Dow wasn’t immediately taken off for HiA- player safety HAS to come first.
Women’s rugby is class
Apparently my ‘bulk’ is off putting.
Comments like this are why some women are put off lifting.
Comments like this are why I post.
You won’t look like this accidentally and if my arms put you off joining my programme then quite honestly good.
What an incredible group of women! Previous red roses and current World Cup squad came together tonight. Can’t wait to see what this squad can do on Saturday!

‘You look like a man’ ….says the man with no muscles….
Strength isn’t masculine or feminine- it’s strength.
You aren’t less masculine if you aren’t muscular, and you aren’t less feminine if you are.
The impact of trolling on mental health-
One of my IG reels reached the wrong side of social media and I've been receiving a lot of horrible comments.
A lot of them telling me I look manly and I should stay off social media if comments offend me.
I've got to be honest waking
The truth about steroids-
I don’t take them.
Never have. Never will.
Simple.
I lift 4/5 times a week. Eat 200g of protein a day & 3000 calories.
Happy to answer any questions in the comments but any accusatory ones will be deleted.

I’m Kat.
Rugby World Cup winner turned pundit.

I have 3 dogs.
I help people lose weight sustainability with my body transformation programme 💪
I used to be body conscious- worried about looking too muscular, now here I am buzzing that I can see my bicep vein through my top 💪
A lot can change in a couple of years!

I realised something yesterday.
I’m really happy.
Strange thing to realise and perhaps strange to post- but it hit me this morning and made me feel quite emotional.
I was bullied at primary school.
I never quite felt like I fitted in after that and had body image issues that

How 2 airport interactions showed me attitudes to strong women are changing.
First the baggage handler commented on my strength (not size).
Secondly security loudly said- ‘don’t you know that you can’t carry guns?’ Whilst smiling appreciatively.

Work life balance 🥂
Today I’m flying business class on holiday with my fiancé.
If you told me 10 years ago I’d be able to do this I would believe you.
I used to get paid £6p/h at the gym. 5.30am starts.
When I played 7’s semi pro I picked up extra work connecting cables in
I’ve been through 2 big transformations in my life.
I went from being this shy and awkward girl to a Rugby World Cup winner.
And more recently, going from someone who didn't even have a laptop pre-pandemic to a fully-fledged business owner.
Both were huge for my confidence.
I used to get negative attention for my muscles. I tried dieting and cardio (which I hated) to look more ‘feminine’.
But that’s not me.
I love being strong.
So I thought f**k it- I’m going to fuel my body, start lifting & embrace what my body can do 💪
Never been happier!
I don’t train to look a certain way.
I train to be strong.
That doesn’t stop the constant comments that I’m ‘Too masculine’ or
‘Must be on roids’
I train for me. Not for strangers approvals (or disapproval).

‘I hate muscle on women’.
Random comment on a photo of me dressed up for a night out.
Not sure why they felt the need to tell me that.
I don’t train to ‘look good’ for anyone other than myself.
I like feeling strong.
I like feeling powerful.
Feeling broken.
I’m a positive person. I spend most my energy making others feel good about themselves.
I want young girls to have an understanding that they can do sports and be athletic and not feel insecure anouy their bodies.
And I love the support I get, but today is one

It’s easy to say ‘ignore trolls’ but when you get called a bloke and accused of being on roids pretty much daily just for being a strong women it gets frustrating!

Woke up to 100’s of comments on my Instagram reel calling me a man.
Genuine question- what is it about women with muscle that causes this kind of response?

Anyway, this will be my next reel…

Surviving to Thriving.
2020 was really hard for me- going through an awful break up straight into living alone during lockdown.
Over training, under eating and confidence shot.
2023 and i’m healthy, confident & happy.

I often get asked why I respond to trolls.
I do it for her.
Younger me.
At first school I was bullied because I was sporty. I liked being active and playing and that wasn't what girls were 'supposed to be doing'.

As muscular women, myself and Demi get stared at a lot.
But this week in Paris at the Olympics we’ve found people just want to ask us what sport we do and are we competing in the games (sadly we are not).
But It shows that having so many athletic, incredible women competing on
Overwhelmed by the supportive comments on my bullying post.
It's easy to say ignore it or get off social media but I use social media for my work and I do see the hurtful comments .
BUT the level of support I've had and the DM's telling me awesome things about your daughters
The recent increase in trolling has also shown an increase in support- which I love and appreciate. But please don’t troll the trolls, especially about appearance. Online bullying is never acceptable. I want to stamp it out not encourage it.
Apparently my arm bulk is off putting...
If you want a free training video on how to build muscle while dropping fat comment "me!".
Then, when you get insulted for your athletic physique, you'll know you're on the right track 💪

This has to be stopped.
Contact and controlled aggression is part of rugby.
Intentionally injuring a player is not.

When I retired, I restricted my food & upped my cardio to fit what a 'feminine' physique looked like.
As people would tell me how "manly" I looked.
Now I train to be strong & embrace the body that comes with that.
Still get called manly, just now I don't care.
Brb, lifting
