The scary weirdos were totally part of the experience. And it was considered bad etiquette to just pick up a bag and leave. You had to stay and smoke some, converse, maybe play some cards or watch someone playing an electric guitar without an amp. It was a full event.
Marijuana being legal is so sad. Now I go to a dispensary, I’m in and out in 5 minutes. Used to get to spend up to 4 hours at a sketchy dealers house just chatting with scary weirdos and you never knew what potency or strain you were getting. It was always a fun surprise.
