@Squarehead3331 honestly, the *problems* with TDKR (and, to a lesser extent, YO) are all in the writing. Once you start to dig into the script, it becomes politically and thematically repugnant. But that top-level view, ignoring the themes, etc, is incredible.

@Squarehead3331 i agree; it's a false dichotomy because hype moments can BE good writing, and honestly, for me, hype moments only work when the writing leading up to them is good. But also... shit like JJK or most event comics is literally just hype moments with nothing else going on lol
