Welcome to The Junior School at Freemen’s where children flourish, enthused by highly-skilled and passionate staff. We believe in kindness, honesty and fun.
After the disappointing news that Covid cases are rising and the start of term will be affected, perhaps this silliness will cheer you up, momentarily.
Our tourists have arrived in Osmington Bay. Let’s hope the sky and t-shirts remain that blue over the next few days!

Does anything bring more pleasure to a community of Junior school children, whether they be 7 or 13, than break time in the snow? Answers on a postcard, please.
Checked in and through security. Few lucky ones got the full search. Pupils are excited and raring to go. Mr Raja is coping without his beauty sleep... just.
The French gang at Vimy.
Now we’re sauntering along the A1 heading to the hotel. ETA 1830 (Paris time!)
There may be some singing in the back of the L4 coach, but opinions differ.
And that’s a wrap. Pupils were first class and are a credit to you all. The staff and I have had a great time away with them. Planning for next year starts soon.

Good morning all. Day 3 has begun in earnest. The U3s left at 830 (ish) for the Stade and the L4s are on the way to our boat trip up the Seine.
Not a bleary eye in sight, though the coach is considerably less noisy than it was at this time yesterday.
Loading the coach. ETA at ashtead park for 8.20. Sorry for the delay as I am sure you are looking forward to seeing the youngsters. All pupils are safe, healthy and looking forward to listening to my chat for a few days at least.

Bonjour. The French group is up and fully breakfasted. The L4s are pulling away from the hotel heading to the Stade de France. The U3s who had a lie in are doing their central Paris day. We swap tomorrow. Photos to come, in time.
We have just landed. Almost ready to go through passport control. Will tweet again when on the bus. If the barrier is not up please use st Giles car park. Thank you for your patience and understanding
It’s still dark, there’s a dusting of snow on the fields and the French group has left the hotel. The L4 bus has a reflective, subdued ambience. The U3s are less quiet so Toy Story 3 has been deployed.
Les Roste-Bœufs have arrived at the hotel. Supper in waves … U3 first. L4 testing the strength of the hotel corridors! They’re eating at 2015.

The JS children and staff have just been treated to a brilliant and inspirational assembly, led by GB Paralympic archer. Thank you
@ArcheryTania
; you were amazing. See you and your bow in February.
The winner of the ‘Make a Difference’ award is Stefan O. Always smiling (except in this picture), the first to help anyone and been a delight to take on a trip.
