I was there. There was no anti-Semitic element but there were many supporters of Palestine as there are everywhere people are standing up against colonialism and genocide.

Almost every protest in Toronto passes by the hospitals because Queen’s Park and the US Consulate are on University Ave , pro-choice demos, union protests, anti/war protests, anti-racist protests have all gone down university by the hospitals. All of them have back entrances.

Everyone is condemning Hamas. They are saying what no-one in power is saying. Condemining Hamas is not enough. What about Israel’s non stop bombing of residential areas and cutting off food, electricity and any help. There are atrocities on both sides of this.

Everyone is pointing out how differently police treat Indigenous and anti-racist demos but we can look at an even closer comparison in 2001 when even more people shut down Quebec City to protest free trade in the Americas. Police attacked with us with tear gas within minutes.
