This is a plausible reason why ETH price has underperformed: L2's dumping the ETH they earn from fees.
Be L2. Have centralized sequencer. Generate $120m in fees. Pay Ethereum $10m of that amount for DA & security. Dump $110m for profit. Be "Ethereum aligned". I do not understand how ethereans convince themselves with these mental gymnastics. L2s are why Ethereum is inflationary again. SCALE ETHEREUM. They can get the Sonic tech for free. 0 charge. Will 1000x their througput. Make Ethereum Great Again!
