Okay, untested but my theoretical 60 for Regidrago. I opted for some raw draw power to hopefully ensure you are hitting an effective Gardenia’s when necessary. I still think the archetype will have consistency issues but putting this deck together has me seeing the potential.

87/2692 with a record of 9-2-4, securing not only my first day 2 at a major but my first 128. Didn’t quiet get the invite this season but I met my goal of 500 points and then some ending the season at 542 points. Dragapult is amazing, this is the best way to play it.

I LOVE THIS GAME AND I LOVE THIS COMMUNITY!! Not only did I make my first day 2 but after this weekend all 4 of the kids I coach have now qualified for worlds!!! Beyond proud of them, happy for myself, and you better believe I’m proud of myself too. Broke a mental barrier.

6-1-2 at Baltimore Regionals to finish 136th, bummed I couldn’t go further but still a solid finish to start the season off. I worked really hard on the crafting this 60 for myself and the kids I coach and I feel like I nailed the meta call.

The changes made for the upcoming season are extremely negative for your ‘average’ player. Not average as in skill but average as in financial standing. This is a trading card game not a credit card game. Lower the IC BFL to 1.

Just have to remind myself this is only my 5th event ever and I’ve only been playing for 1.5 years. I’ll get Day 2 someday soon, I’ll top 8 a regional soon after that, and soon after that I will win a regional. 3-4-2 today feels so bad.

On the surface Chien Pao looks easy to play, discard energies and blow anything up. Simple enough. The concept of the deck itself is simple, playing the deck optimally (sequencing your turn to maximize your odds of setting up/progressing the board state) is very difficult.

Made it to the first page of the leaderboard and while it pretty much means nothing leading up to regionals I can’t lie I’m pretty darn proud of myself.
The only competitive goal I set for myself is to cash an event and I’m just hoping I can continue this momentum!
