@_The_Lowdown_ @hankgreen I think that is true for those who identify as "Trump" voters. But he was going to win those votes anyways. He won the election because he managed to tap into the concerns of those who do not identify as the in-group.

@KhoiFX @nemalp031 @hankgreen I really disagree. I think the answer is to aggressively propose solutions that will make average citizens lives better and actually try to do it. Medicare for all, raising minimum wage, targeting corporate price gouging. These are popular solutions that you can actually do.

@nemalp031 @hankgreen Of course, but that's not what people were told and what they were told resonated with them. The dems need to be offering solutions in their messaging as well as repeatedly saying "they won't actually do that".
