This is why Trump will never be politically transformative. He's yet another caretaker of decline because (among other reasons) he'll endorse any incumbent who winks at him. It's a real shame.
President Trump announced last night that HE WILL BE ENDORSING Lindsey Graham for his 2026 bid for reelection. UNLESS Graham does something really DUMB to obstruct his agenda, President Trump will play it safe and conserve the majority in the Senate. I don’t like it— but I expected it.

Today, we signed a landmark agreement that empowers Florida law enforcement to help ICE and U.S. Customs and Border Protection carry out President Trump’s mission to restore our country’s sovereignty.  This agreement allows state law enforcement officers in Florida Highway Patrol to serve and execute warrants of arrest for immigration violations, arrest any alien attempting to enter our country unlawfully and deliver them to ICE without delay, and interrogate suspected illegal aliens and detain anyone found to be in violation of our immigration laws. Our state law enforcement will have the authority to issue immigration detainers and prepare charging documents ahead of time, which will expedite deportations.  Alongside our federal partners, Florida is ready to help enforce the laws of our land and keep all Americans safe from the scourge of illegal immigration.
