Asked the day off to be part of a 2-hour writing circle. It was booked, so today is a full day writing day. Current WIP: cozy fantasy sequel to my novel where Tristan now struggles to be a successful hero, a complication comes when his child-abandoning parents are his coworkers.

Had a good personalized response to a query today saying that my novel was enjoyable and would easily fit between Travis Baldree and TJ Klune, but they were already having issues selling another cozy fantasy, due to the romantasy influx. Gives hope for publication at some point!

@_AJ_Rush_ ‘How to solve your own murder’ and “All Good People Here” are great thriller/murder mystery. ‘Meddling Kids’ was an interesting take on the Scobby Doo troupes where the monsters are real.
