The video highlights that deportations since ­July’s election are at their highest level since 2017, hitting almost 19,000. That is true. Yet almost 25,000 arrived on small boats in the same period — and only 6 per cent of those being deported arrived on small boats. Nor is the small boat problem being resolved. It’s worse There have been almost 1,500 small boat arrivals since the New Year, up 8 per cent on the same period last year.
