An absolutely, tragically, totally believable betrayal. If you ever needed any evidence that humans are NOT good at heart just look at Allan Myers. Not even the military instilled any sense of honor, duty or justice in him. Not denigrating our troops. I'm singling out an individual that once he saw a huge financial incentive, he abandoned all of his principles.

I just can't with this guy. I've heard the exchange you both had on with the benefit of hindsight. It was obvious that he was angry at himself and still is to this day. IMO. He made a massive mistake in his approach and instead of admitting to it, which would be respectable, he continues to think that he was right. Massive ego. It was all too big for him to handle.

@ScottPaterno @volorsky @barstoolsports @BracketPod @Zigmanfreud You were part of the problem. I mean you were your father's attorney. You, the University and several other key people thought that distancing Joe and demonizing Jerry was the right route. That couldn't be farther from the truth. Every wrong step was taken.

@JCatrabone @VexPith Penn State was the virtue signaling case, unfortunately. NCAA ended up with a bunch of egg on its face with sanctions being lifted early and wins reinstated. They never will or even can over reach in the same way again.

@blackgodwayne He had an above average game for a TE. Downs did nothing and PSU inexplicably steered away from him late in the game (and no, not because of Downs).

@ScottPaterno @volorsky @barstoolsports @BracketPod @Zigmanfreud I would say put your pride aside, but in this case have some pride. Sandusky is innocent and your dad was a great man. It’s never too late.

@Zigmanfreud It was the #1 story in the world for like two years. However, I'm going to take this as encouraging that it's lost its fake luster and maybe folks have woken up a bit. Or, it could just be a massive oversight with how they seeded it. Tough call.

@RedState76 @randomjmufan @CFBHome Lol you know nothing about the case. Just another simpleton sheepish barely human that swallowed down every piece of the ESPN narrative.

@RedState76 @randomjmufan @CFBHome Aha, so reinstated wins must mean they never did anything wrong. Thanks for clearing that up chief.

@Blue2Bongo @CFBHome For Vegas. That's a total fish bet. And you know that. No true freshman has ever won.

@Lendog172 @BasicBluesPod Some yes but there's the camera catching up with the wide receiver and the throw itself and the decision before the throw. You'd have to look at the all 22 tape. But yeah some of them were really open.

@NotreDamef49554 @DrewAllarSZN15 Lol. They literally threw the game to you and you needed a walk off FG to win with PSU not completing a single pass to a WR. You were dominated with both lines. Zero WRs and flukey plays are why you squeaked by.

@FlannelChonies @CoachFrost7 @PickSixPreviews Well. He was fired. He wasn’t living up to the standard they set in years previous. I think that says it all.

@CoachFrost7 @AltBao @PickSixPreviews I get that but that’s 24 years ago. BB status isn’t just about the last NC appearance. It’s about consistent good to excellence over time with short lulls.

@CoachChad5399 @PickSixPreviews Some of that, some of the game changing schematically and becoming more national.

@AltBao @CoachFrost7 @PickSixPreviews To be fair, they should probably be where people “think” PSU is. Right on the fringe, but with a nice 5-10 years of truly great seasons they can rejoin. But, to your point, I don’t know if that can happen.
