For all the talk about how screwed up our West Coast ports are, port of Long Beach said today it will process more than 9 million TEUs by the end of the year. Previous record was 8.1 million in 2020. They're now at 8.6 million.

Just throwing out a theory: without mask wearing the curve would look the same but at higher numbers. Impossible to prove but something to consider. The drop in flu cases supports some efficacy of mask wearing.
