@PharmWoman @EBjerkrheim @dialogjuice We generally avoid war crimes and death worship. It's part of our beef with the neighbours.

@AdameMedia Every single one of these pictures is the result of what the inhabitants made of their own countries. You're not flexing what you think you're flexing.

Palestinian detainees in administrative detention are predominantly men of fighting age, most of them with known affiliations to armed groups, and their status and whereabouts are accounted for by Israeli authorities. They're allowed regular ICRC visits and judicial review, as well as legal assistance. While keeping them in detention without trial is not something to be proud of, every other element of their captivity is of significantly higher standard than what is afforded to the Israeli and non-Israeli hostages held in Gaza. Two evils can exist simultaneously and independently, with the evil of holding civilians kidnapped from their homes and their whereabouts being hidden within the civilian population to deter rescue attempts while repeatedly denying medical assistance and ICRC visits being greater than administrative detention pending charges. I mean, Hamas kidnapped families in their entirety and filmed themselves shooting their dogs.

@zazuwrz @EylonALevy Yes, I'm fully aware of the fact I served in the military every time I put on my uniform to perform reserve service. Still doesn't mean I'm a Prisoner of War as a legal status if Hamas takes me captive.

@derek_latto Also come to mind: Suicide bombings, and if we're counting other Palestinian terror groups like the PFLP, hijacking civilian airplanes.
