My dad received a Purple Heart in the Army when he was honorably discharged after his platoon was bombed in the middle of the night in Vietnam. He still has pieces of shrapnel in his body to this day and lost an eye because of it. Toughest MF I know.

My uncle Jon was killed by a suicide bomber in Afghanistan back in 2006. He was one of the most noble, passionate and dedicated men to this country before he passed. A green beret as apart of the Army Special Forces, he was an outstanding human.

One of the most important people in my life growing up, my HS hockey coach, had his wife pass away this afternoon from breast cancer. Please send prayers and good vibes to their family (their daughter was supposed to graduate from HS in two weeks). My heart hurts. 💔
