I made a new jar with a alcove to mount a stone point. I have the stone point just sitting in there for now, so I know it will fit later. The jar is going to shrink as it drys, so i need it to be loose.

My 2nd 3D print ever. It looks like wood! Im still working on cleaning this one up a little. But it looks like a carved wood sleeping cat. Printed on a 3D printer using PLA filament which looks and feels like wood. Sand-able too.

Tomorrow, Im going to fire the turtle bowl, 3 jars, some beads, and some doll masks. Ive loaded them in the kiln.

Im almost done working on this hummingbird bowl.
A couple more days. The white settings on it will be shiny GOLD. (Real gold). The other bowl on the right is already sold after less than 1 day being in my etsy site.

Theyre now done being glazed. Theyre back in the kiln being fired for the 2nd time. Cross your fingers! Theyll be copper green, 2 will have gold accent rivets. Unveiling tomorrow.

I just had a face to face with a big...ass.......SKUNK.
I was out running errands and came back to the office and she was outside the front door looking for food in the garbage bag. When she saw me she ran and i found her living under the shed. Now Im picking up garbage.

The turtle bowl (bottom) and 3 jars and doll masks all survived their first firing. I will glaze them all today and put them back in the kiln and refire them. I will unveil them all tomorrow.

Im going to make a piece of new pottery today, with alcoves in it that will let mount some of my stone points in the pottery. After firing, i can set them in the special settings, and use small copper wires to permanently mount them.

I didnt have a belt.
So..I made myself a leather one.
Its big, full 2 inches wide. Solid brass buckle. 6 rivets.
(Now all i have to do is punch the final holes, the dye's drying.)
If anyone wants a good belt, let me know. I can stamp decorations - designs into them too.

Its after 1am. I just got done hand painting the glazes on this bowl. I will fire it tomorrow & the currently dull colors will become bright & bold. The "settings" will eventually be BRIGHT SHINY GOLD, & will get silver settings in each, with a stone set in them. Good night.

Three new ones just survived the first firing in the kiln!
Im going to decorate them now and stick them back in the kiln for their 2nd firing. (This time to 2245 degrees F)

The king is on the right. I have to fix a small issue with the queens staff. Then i can make molds of both.

I made this new bowl,
then I hand polished it with a polished rock.
When its dry I will bisque fire it & then I will hand paint glaze decorations and fire it to 2280 degrees F. (About 1850 degrees C)
