I’ve created some mini ScoutAI’s, based off the same methodologies I use for performance analytics, to assess #mufc squad and recommend new players. I’ll be working on it over the next few months, and so far, the KPI’s are extremely simple, and selection process not optimised. However, the initial view is that many of United’s players represent terrible value of money against their PL peers. This should be a statement of fact, but when measuring Net Impact per 90 x Salary, many United players are bottom in the whole PL, either due to low impact, or being over paid, or both. Here’s some interesting transfers based on increasing impact while lowering costs. Expected points with current first XI: 60 points. Simulated transfers to increase points at lower costs: Sell Onana, buy Vandevoort. Sell Shaw, buy Dimarco Sell Dalot, buy Frimpong Sell Mount, buy Tielemans Sell Hojlund, buy David Sell Bruno, buy Damsgaard Sell Martinez and Lindelof, buy Medina and Inacio Sell Rashford, buy Kvara. If I remove cost neutral capping, Gyokeres and Osimhen are recommended as the player that would add most points to the team (outside of Haaland and Mbappe). What this says is this team can be assembled with a theoretically POSITIVE impact to PSR, and adding another 12 points. Some other notable recommendations so far are Zielinski, Kamada, Tsygankov, and Florentino Luis. Nkunku ranks highly as a Bruno replacement also. This is based off limited simulations and almost zero time spent on refinement.

@SohailSNAhmed I think it’s way overly simplistic too. There are many formers colonies in the empire where the British colonialism actually liberated various ethnic groups.

RT @ronaldobrown_98: The funny part about this tweet is many of the Spurs players get a start for us too.

@willg1989 On Bruno, when is a good time to sell him now? Feasibly, what’s his value now v end of 25-26?

RT @RedlingMUFC: Brent is 45. Gary Neville is 49. Was Brent kicking around at 18-19 with Neville jammies on?

@willg1989 I’d spend as much on a striker as feasible, and have an able back up. I worry about blowing a lot of money on Quenda. A lot of money at a young age. And I think this summer would also be the optimal time to sell Fernandes too.
