Thanksgiving Day 1982, my senior year of high school. Freezing Temperatures (20°) w/below 0 wind chill. Froze my but off at Chelmsford High School during our turkey day football game. We lost to Chelmsford, 31-0. We survived then, we'll survive again.

Wild endings in the MVC in this final weekend before the playoffs begin. Andover, after having a punt blocked and converted into a TD with under a minute to go, trailed Lowell by a point. On the last play of the game, AHS scores on a 44yd run to win, 20-14! That's the MVC 4 U.

That's a BS statement! The MVC is split into 3 tiers. There is NO overall MVC Champ. Andover is the Tier 1 champ, Billerica has clinched a tie for Tier 2 & Lowell is the Tier 3 champ. How quickly they forget that Methuen kicked their butt.

I just spoke to a member of the 2001 Billerica Championship Team. I was wrong, I was confusing Duxbury w/Lincoln-Sudbury. This was Billerica's 1st win ever over Duxbury.
If Longmeadow wins tomorrow, it will be a rematch of the 2001 D1 State Final.
