$300 million in K-12 funding financial cuts were announced today by the Governor. There has been no announcement of an elimination of the $100 of millions of dollars that are spent on State contracts for K-12 State Assessments? What is more important?

Today was the 1st day in over 5 months that students were educated in classrooms in AW buildings. The return plan that was collaboratively put together over the summer was implemented today & was a success! Thank you administrators, directors, staff, parents, & students!

This afternoon we were informed that AWLS Staff member, Waterville Custodian, and OAPSE Co-President Sandy Brumfield lost her battle with cancer. She was an outstanding employee, great advocate for the OAPSE staff, and just an overall great person. Prayers to her family!
