In Judaism yes, however after the resurrection of Jesus on the first day of the week the early church of the first century recognized the sabbath on Sunday as do followers of Christ today.

Dr. Walker, this is touching. Twenty-two years ago, while we were stationed in Germany, my wife suffered a miscarriage at about three months. Recently while visiting cemeteries for ancestral research we discovered this sweet baby’s resting place. Each year we visit her now.

I joined at 18 almost 40 years ago. Best thing I ever did, short of marrying my wife. I have two sons that are officers now. My oldest actually administered the oath to his little brother back in 2018. Both are doing well in their careers.

I’ll never forget the surreal experience of seeing the A-10s taxing in the moonlight on Bagram in 2002 when our C-17 dropped the tailgate in blackout conditions. That was a long cold flight from Rhein-Main.

This actually scares the hell out of me. My wife and I are empty-nesters in our fifties. We are isolating ourselves in our personal life but I have to work with a bunch of 30 somethings that think this is a hoax. I feel that it’s just a matter of time...

We are under a new covenant. The law leads us to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It really doesn’t matter but we set aside Sunday for praise and worship.
This is a portrait of my 20 years and 27 days in the US Army. My brothers and sisters in arms will know what this represents. I am forever grateful that I had the opportunity to serve our Nation. This however no longer defines me. I am a child of God; a servant in Christ's army.
I missed the last two weeks. I’m so excited, yeah right. Also, let’s welcome my wife
@GrannyKimberly
to the fun! She’s been a quiet admirer the whole time.

lol, we bought our home in 2006. The house was built around 1970. I think the structure was completed around the Kelvinator freezer in the basement that hums along nonstop, forever. I believe the Kelvinator preceded the Pilgrims to the New World.

My wife got a bunch of baby stuff because she is going to start babysitting our granddaughter and the cats are doing the same here! 🐈 🐈⬛

This morning on my commute I was listening to my favorite podcast and the commentator was talking about geopolitics and Pakistan. He got to the part were “we took him out” and I immediately thought of you. Thanks, Brother. Justice served. 🇺🇸
I did my thing, 20 yrs and 27 days; not that I was counting! It was a pleasure to be in the Army. For most of my life the Army was my identity, more than anything I thought. Now I know better but that is something we only learn with guidance from the Spirit. Happy Veterans Day.

Well it’s pretty obvious now that the higher power the band sings about was never the saving Grace of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Father, forgive them...

Oh wow! We just started watching Poldark the series for the second time. This so reminds me of the tenants quarters in that show. If only we knew the full history here. I bet there’s so much happiness and sorrow. I love your posts!
@andrewtwalk
Happy Anniversary! So true, Dr. Walker. I had just turned 19 and my wife was 17 when we married and started our lives together. Things were different in 1987 of course.

My dad died from Alzheimer’s and my mom at 80 has been diagnosed about two years. Biden appears to be at the beginning stage. People around him know what’s going on. There is no doubt that they are using his name to get passed Bernie then the real candidate will appear.

I think we might lose this guy because God already answered his question. “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,” declares the LORD. Isaiah 55:8

I was an Army drill sergeant 25 years ago. Discharge due to not passing the entry clearance is nothing new. Why is this even news?

9.5 years sober here! Quit at age 46 after drinking pretty consistently since 18. Life is way better now. A year after my sobriety the Lord called and I dedicated my life to Christ and eternity in Heaven. Love what you’re doing here, Lindsay!

We got great news that our 4 year old granddaughter with autism has learned to pronounce about twenty new words! She’s our little miracle! ❤️
