Was not mentally prepared for this today. The world needs more Bens.
This is really hard to write but so many of you have loved and cared about Ben that I wanted to let you know. We found out today the cancer had spread throughout Bens organs and there was nothing left we could do-we had to let him go. I’ve had dogs my whole life but Ben was 1 on 1. He was smart-loving-gentle-patient-inquisitive-and welcoming to all. Always a big smile and a soft tail wag. He and I could communicate..he and I understood each other and had each others backs. He was with me more than anyone at home and traveling with me for work. Such an easy going companion. Hard day-but he will live within all of us forever. God please bless his majestic soul and thank you for putting him in my life for the last 10 years-a true blessing. Love you Ben. 🙏🏼

Today, I turned 40. I’ve thought a lot about the past. What would 10 yr old me think of 40 yr old me? The kid once intimated by her voice and the size of her dreams would be proud. She found her voice, her purpose, and the life she always dreamed of is only just beginning.

The kid in me never dreamed I’d be giving a keynote on this stage. I also wouldn’t have believed I’d share that stage with the biggest name in the business, talking about the industry that has shaped our lives. Dream big, kids. And when your dreams become reality, give back.

Why is the standard temperature for conference meeting rooms 65 degrees!?! Is it because the majority of attendees are male? Are room rates lower if you freeze attendees? Did the freezer break and the room has to keep the reception beer cold? I am perplexed. And freezing.
