A THREAD 🧵🛸 The White House recently announced that the numerous drones observed over New Jersey were authorized by the FAA for research and other purposes. However, this explanation leaves several critical questions unanswered: Lack of Specifics: Who exactly was operating these drones, and what specific research was being conducted? Delayed Disclosure: Why did the FAA not disclose this information during the initial investigations, especially considering the public concern and media coverage at the time? Contradictory Actions: If these flights were authorized, why did the FAA implement airspace restrictions and collaborate with other federal agencies to investigate the sightings? These inconsistencies suggest that the recent FAA announcement may not fully align with the observed activities and official responses during the period of increased drone sightings.
