for anyone who remembers or has seen imagery from 9/11, it clearly wasn’t that day. Appears to be at least a few days later. I think Trump claims to have helped after the fact, not immediately the day of. The stock exchange is near Ground Zero.

If you’ve no money coming in, & your unemployment $ hasn’t started & you’re freaking, it’ll make a huge dent. If you’re lucky enough to still have a job, the extra money might give you more confidence to spend, or support nonprofits.

There’s no question the Dems have a right to do it. So in that sense I suppose it is Constitutional. Perhaps the better question is, is it a fair process, born of a compelling public need, honoring the somber spirit of the Constitution? Its partisan composition argues against it.

Private schools are accountable. If they aren’t good schools, parents won’t send their kids to them. It’s actually fundamental, nuts-and-bolts, sink-or-swim kind of accountability.
And if private schools are so bad, why do so many school-choice opponents send their kids to them?
Greg Abbott’s voucher scam would divert precious taxpayer dollars out of our underfunded public schools and into unaccountable private schools.
Like any scam, it may sound good at first but if you dig a little deeper, you realize it’s ripping you off.
