Let’s not forget that DOE’s chief function is to manage our nation’s nuclear weapons program and safeguard our nuclear stockpile. How the hell is a 23-year-old apparatchik with zero security clearance being allowed to mess with its cyber security systems?
A DOE official warned the new Energy secretary against allowing 23-year-old DOGE employee Luke Farritor access to the agency’s cybersecurity systems, including the network that feeds into the National Nuclear Security Administration. Chris Wright approved access anyway.

@arff6312 I'm so sorry. The most commonly cited estimates put the half life for PFOS at 3.5 to 5.5 years, but some sub-types/isomers have half lives of 12 years or more. See this for more information:
