@Cucky97291723 @BorealBaron Yeah don’t respond to the philosophical parts. Your system is based on the same platonism as Marx. Goodbye

@DrNoBusiness Had to repost. Sorry but this is not the Biblical understanding. The spirit + body form the life of man, the soul isn't the real you trapped inside inferior flesh, Plotinus. I quote Scripture and Florovsky here:

@Cucky97291723 @BorealBaron sex slaves wrong, g-nocide good according to you. you have no barometer for what is right or wrong, especially if you hold to an ideology that is based on dialectical opposition. communism is dialect of classes, Fascism is dialect of race. they're the same thing

@acnewsitics @SuzLaugh Nobody said they received Social Security for 150 years straight. He said people who are long-dead are receiving Social Security to launder money. Go to school

@AngloVarangian Yeah and that will continue as long as Orthodox online think that they're just the based version of Catholicism. We aren't. It's a different way of life and thought process. Even Catholics in the US don't act like Catholics elsewhere. Everyone uses Protestant suppositions

@Sola_Requiem @ARealWildCat Which is because historically the US had massive influx of Italian, Irish, Polish immigrants and Spanish rule of the southwest. Orthodoxy is relying on a significantly smaller and later immigrant pool and very recent converts

@MosesAbrah58688 the two are related in denying the pre-existence of the Son, but I wouldn't say there is a literal chain between them

@Didi1793147F @NewsNFTU @BrotherRasheed you do realize that's nonsense right. Lebanon is 40% Christian, Syria and Egypt are around 10% and Jordan is 5% or so Christian.

@Ostensiblay Sharaa is in a tough spot. Trying to be the polite leader of a new Syria while unable to control his own army—or unwilling because the salafis would call him a pagan for doing so. Maybe the protestors in 2011 were right. King Abdullah should’ve ruled

@Sanctvspavlvs @mbrktho Finance hasn’t been much better. I always idolised medicine because one of my grandfathers was a doctor. Guess the glory days are gone

@RomeInTheEast @ARealWildCat Further context is that Russia very readily refused help from the Latins out of the very same fear they would attempt to force them into Papism. In Orthodox Historicist eschatology, the Pope and Islam are the antichrist and the beast

@AngloVarangian You're correct. This is also why we see such an obsession with absolute metaphysical certainty amongst the rushed converts. Orthodoxy is not supposed to be a suppositional religion that you learn on a desk in a dingy room. It's an experiential religion and always has been
