@gregammons1 @fitsnews @murrellsmith My Liability insurance went from $1500/yr, to $28,000/yr. But sure, blame the insurance companies.

We (SCFC) tried to defund DEI in every single state university two years ago. If voting against that in every single instance is “leading the way,“ I don’t know what to tell you. What has changed? The political winds shifted nationwide. The South Carolina legislature did not lead, they followed, and only did so because of political pressure.

@adelaidexrawks @RepAdamMorgan @SCHouseGOP We still need you! It is a battle. We count this as a win. However, it’s critical the citizens know how we got here.

This is exactly why they don’t like us taking pictures of the public vote board on the house floor.
Fact ✔️: Yesterday the @SCHouseGOP announced they will pass legislation to end DEI in SC. Glad they finally came around on the issue—years later. Conservatives, this is why speaking up and playing the long game matters. Speak truth, force recorded votes, and you will win.

It’s also the “Trump effect.“ What’s happening nationally is making our constituents look towards their own back yard the SC State House. We have said year after year, there are 50 “swamps“. I could argue our top status as SC being one of the swampiest of the swamps. We led on this in 2023. We were shut down, ridiculed and targeted…..by the RINOs. Watching them pivot is entertaining.

@Thomasstjames3 @elonmusk Sesame Street in Iraq? I remember you protesting George Soros being vocal when He received the Presidential Medal of Freedom. What is an essential program?

As a small business owner and a politician, there’s more in common than not. I can serve my customers AND make a profit. They intersect at what is wasteful or not. It’s that simple. We have been outsourcing our treasury to leftist causes, NGO’s, foreign aid, etc. When a nation has a mission statement (the constitution) and all its citizens understand the core functions of the government (its purpose) for existing, as citizens we can debate. That’s what we should be doing based on what has been revealed at USAID. If my restaurant manager decided we need to start a business selling kittens out of the kitchen, we may be headed in the wrong direction. In addition, she doesn’t tell the owner (me) or tell the customers about the side business. It may be time for a hard conversation with her (easy for me). The nation is having this conversation. You are deflecting.

But they’re not doing ANY DEI initiatives at USC. I heard it straight out of his own mouth at the Higher Education Subcommittee last week while he was asking the legislature for money. He didn’t lie did he? LOL
@stephen_frank Return the money @MichaelAmiridis. Not another dime of donation until you do. #embarrassing

@PooreRicha15091 @SCHouseGOP @realDonaldTrump No, we actually tried this in the past budget debate. The RINOs fully funded DEI in all the states universities.

We (SC Freedon Caucus) tried in 2023. The Republican (RINOs) tabled every amendment to their budget requests. We did that for every state funded university. And our amendments were defeated every single time. Did you know the faux “tuition freeze” was not a freeze (7 years running)??. SC taxpayers make up the difference in what the universities were going to raise tuition to. In other words, the schools still raised tuition, and you’re paying for it.
