I have worked with Stewart on and off for 20 years. He is a class act. Not many people are as encouraging and lovely to you on your first day as a trainee in Norwich as they are when you become a boss. He was. And he was the same again today…
Harry was everything our broadcasters should be - the bloke next door who cares about life where we live. The audience loved him, his colleagues loved him and we are all the poorer for losing him.
Our much loved friend and colleague Harry Gration died suddenly today. We are absolutely heartbroken to give you this news.
Tonight our hearts go out to Harry's wife Helen, their children and all of Harry's family and friends.
Richard Cartridge was the most generous and warm hearted man in Radio. A huge loss for his family and his

Shocked to learn of the death of broadcasting legend Harry Gration. A lovely man who made TV presenting look so easy. Here’s my musical tribute to a true pro. My deepest condolences to his family. Rest in peace Harry.
