@aymanalabdul @jamesonhaslam Second what Ayman is preaching here. i have found a lot of success with accountability partners. Biggest key for success is making sure the partner is bought in and not just listening

A mentor asked me this question: are you doing things your way or someone elses? Ask yourself that question. ~Actually~ think about it. Are you doing things your way, or because that is and was the clear and established path that was recommended to you? I'm not just talking about the woo-woo "quit your job, travel the world, and start a business because the traditional career isn't for you" What I'm getting at is asking yourself this question with ANYTHING you do. I'll give you some examples: - Instead of a traditional conference, @awilkinson created an “anti-conference”—just interesting people, fun activities, and engaging discussions. No stale format. - My cousin is getting married next year. He loves music festivals and wants to have me and his friends DJ his wedding like a mini festival lineup. He threw the classic idea of a wedding out the window and asked himself how he and his future wife can do a wedding their way. Love it. - Some friends and I were brainstorming an all-day wellness event. It felt too cookie-cutter until we asked, “What would this look like if we did it our way?” We came up with the concept of an adult summer camp for just one day over the weekend. Might sound weird to some, but it sounds awesome to me. (Stay tuned for more on this) That's why I write a newsletter: It's a way to share my ideas and what I'm excited about with people who are interested enough in what I'm doing to get messages from me. Once a week: my way. Let me know: what you’d going to do your way?

One of the hardest but most fun ways to story tell is to edit and create your own videos. It takes loads of planning but if done well... you have the viewer hooked and they love it

People can sometimes be held hostage by their expectations. They have a dream of something they would like to achieve or a path they intend to follow, but their mindset falls apart when things don't work out how they had hoped. The key is to reach for an extremely high bar, but to be adaptable enough to reframe the failures, disappointments, and defeats into fuel for the next thing. Give your best effort, but no matter how it works out, trust that life will be good for you. Focus on how the world is working with you, not against you. Everything you are given is material for the next move. Everything
