@lillybugsout It can do, yes. With dementia, for example, some patients can become aggressive, rude etc. Whilst others can become more pleasant, playful, and even child like etc.

@covie_93 Christianity is a cult (all religion), just like MAGA. So why are you surprised when cultists celebrate other cultists?

@6_shadow_7 Two things can be true at once. I never suggested there was only one cause for rising fascism. I simply stated brain damage COULD potentially create changes in a person that would increase the likelihood of subscribing to such ideologies.

@umm_nyanyway At no point in that thread did I once suggest it’s the sole cause. It would really help if you read threads thoroughly before quoting them and spreading disinformation.

@CleverWhatever Well the brain is capable of causing hallucinations and resulting paranoia and psychosis. So, yes, I would say so. Dementia patients have been known to suddenly believe or not believe certain things they otherwise wouldn’t/would have. They can become quite delusional as well.

@Freezing_Hot_ @Adabear_Art Brain damage can alter an individual’s perception of the world and those around them. This in and of itself would impact their political beliefs/views. I never once said “brain damage turns people into nazis”. I’m bored of these intellectually challenged BS replies now.

@girlfangs_ No fascism rose during the 1920s and 30s. It’s at this point I’m aware you have little knowledge of both the history of fascism, and the neurological consequences of viral infections. Blocked.

@ExiledImmortal Also, that’s quite a sweeping statement, stating that you have no respect for ANYONE with a PhD because of something one person with a PhD said that you didn’t agree with. Demonstrates your low level of intellect quite frankly.

@Freezing_Hot_ @Adabear_Art Which organ within the body enables a human being to even have morals to begin with…?

@ryn_kerr You wouldn’t have believed it if you hadn’t have seen it. I’m still somewhat shell-shocked.

@itsjeanieologie Approaching it logically means we can address one of the root causes and work to prevent this from continuing and getting worse. Or did this evade you?

@TrumpTrain2525 Accusing someone else of being indoctrinated when you’re a Trump supporter/member of a cult is quite the irony.
