So many silly takes about Trump’s comments re: Vance as future president. If he endorses him as his presumptive successor now, he opens both of them up to scrutiny during this term. There is no obligation to tell all to the media. And it’s often wiser to say mum.

@whataboutalan I liked a lot of his conclusions and many of them—living simply, prudently, and enduring hardship with determination, etc. map onto the Christian worldview. But much like Peterson, et. al, I don’t accept the motivation. We live that way to serve and glorify the living God.
