5) Controller (Dual Sense Edge)

Cyberpunk.
Especially on PC with path tracing.
But I do think HFW Burning Shores are one of the best looking games, no matter the platform. On PC it will look simply amazing.

Microsoft didnt buy ABK for COD.
They primarily bought ABK for its mobile business (50% of ABKs business is mobile games) to compete with Apple and Google.
Thats why Microsoft had no problem with keeping COD as a multiplat game.
So many are getting the reasoning for this deal

Phil is not even gonna try making great games 👎 So dont expect any.
I think great quality games should be his 1st, 2nd and 3rd priority.
We dont care about his Could and mobile gaming, his low cost subscription service if it mostly have AA games and low quality exclusives.

Well, for the 99,8% of gamers wo dont care about the protagonists colour, the game also has to have a good story, great game mechanics, a well designed game world and good graphics. And run without problems on a variaty of hardware.
I thing the game looks mediocre, unfortunately

Best PC port ever 🥳🥳🥳
100-120 fps at max settings and 4k DLSS Quality on my 4090 PC.
Looks and runs fantastic….And much better than on PS5, as it should on a 4090 with ray traced shadows and ambient occlussion.

I expect Starfield to be very CPU heavy, so it will be difficult to get decent frame rates, unfortunately.

Only around 900p on PS5 upscaled to 1440p, and then upscaled to 4K (if you use a 4K display) using pixel stretching.
And still runs below 60 fps.
Not at good look, so I understand the negative reaction.

I think it looks more “next gen” than many games out there today on a highend PC.
Its a huge achievement.
Its a quite GPU heavy game to run. I only run at around 120 fps at 4k DLSS Quality (1440p) on my 4090 PC.

BG3 is objectively a much better game. Maybe the best game of this decade.
Most will agree on that, from critics to gamers.
Starfield is a decent/good game amount many other good games in 2023. Not something special, as BG3 is.

Cyberpunk 2077 with path tracing on PC.
In my opinion lighting is the most important graphical feature.
The path traced global illumination makes Cyberpunk look like real life.
HFW looks great, but its biggest weakness is its lighting, especially indirect lighitng. And also

How can DF say that 960p can look good on a 4k TV ???
It will look so blurry. He much have been reviewing the game on a 1080p or 1440p monitor.
FSR 2 upscales from 960p to 1440p. Then PS5 uses pixel stretching to get the 1440p image to fit a 4k display.

Steam has a two hour full refund policy.
I expect many will have refunded it after trying it.
I did, because it looks so bad, with no HDR and raised black levels (greyish and washed out) in SDR.

Hogwarts Legacy.
Fantastic recreation of the Harry Potter Universe and so detailed. Its easy to see that a lot of time/years was spend on crafting this game👍

Its upscaled to 4K on consoles.
So the base resolution before upscaling could be much lower. If so, then there is not room for a 120 fps version.

It confirms no shift in their PC games strategy.
PLaystation AAA 1st party will still release later on PC.
So PS5 Pro day one for me, eventhough I also game on highend PCs.
They will also not waste a lot of resources on mobile. Their fucus will be Playstation consoles 👍
