Great ball game by liberty. Took a punch in round 1 but came back swinging and didn’t let South out of the corner! Won the turnover battle and limited penalties and capitalized on every FZS mistake! I’m confident south will rebound but what a showing for the Eagles!.
FINAL.Liberty 56 (5-3).Ft. Zumwalt South 28 (5-3). Eagles trailed 14-0 but their offense couldn’t be stopped for the rest of the game as Jaylen Mack set a school record for SIX rushing touchdowns. Liberty outscored FZS 36-7 in the 2nd half as their defense stepped up big time.
