Done! Key takeaway: Presidential decisions on regime change were driven by the need to demonstrate U.S. international "credibility" and advance domestic political goals, rather than national security concerns or economic interests. Great book; essential for the Cold War crew!
Here it is: The latest addition to my home library! The author covers Guatemala 1954 through Panama 1989, with many points between. The book looks good; it looks *damn* good. I'll read it over the December holidays and maybe post a few observations here on Twitter/X/whatever.

@DanRShafer Unfortunately, my knowledge of pro wrestling begins and ends with John "The Golden Greek" Tolos and Freddie Blassie. 🤼♂️ But I can say that an overwhelming majority of MAGA voters that I know come from "George Wallace Democrat" families, not "Country Club GOP" backgrounds. ⛳️🏌️♂️💰
