Then the rest would’ve followed up and built the foundation for the whole MCU roster coming in to defeat Doom.

@JerusalemDemsas @uhshanti Yeah, I’ve moved pretty much every other year for close to a decade, and every move’s worn out my interest in trying to build community because it seems like a lot of work when you know you’ll have to start from scratch before it’s even worth it.

@JerusalemDemsas @uhshanti Your initial post is lamenting the lost mobility of when Americans uprooted every couple years and never had any deep roots. My own experience with moving constantly is that it burns you out from trying to settle in and build any kind of support system that doesn’t exist.

@uhshanti @JerusalemDemsas If anything, transient movers seem to be the least likely to try and set roots or build bonds because they expect to leave. It makes sense if they want to get involved politically or find a trivia/game group, but you want to build a reliable support system? Fuck off.
