1 of the best bits of my job is the hands on training. These wonderful ladies are part of the admin team at Throckley & we have signed them off as phlebotomists after finishing their training. I love helping people find career development in #GeneralPractice 🥰 @NewcastleGPs

As always, I am so grateful to work with amazing #PracticeNurses who really value the work we do to support #StudentNurses in #GeneralPractice. We have to make sure the next generation feel empowered at the beginning of their careers! #ProudPracticeNurse

It's great to have had our MP @ChiOnwurah in our office today. The work the @NewcastleGPs team do is incredible, and I feel so lucky to be part of it! The nurse led research that is happening is mindblowing. #ProudPracticeNurse #PrimaryCare

I never wanted to be a #PracticeNurse. It wasn't something I'd ever considered as a job. So, how did I end up doing it as a newly qualified nurse? #proudpracticenurse #nursing #studentnurse

Part 4 of my nursing story: I realised very quickly that I didn't enjoy working in the hospital. Everything I was being taught was based in the hospital, & it was very daunting. I wish I had been able to experience nursing placements outside of the hospital. #ProudPracticeNurse

Tonight, I wanted to share talk about what impacted my life before I started my nurse training. Having 3 of the biggest life events in 3 months: one of the worst, one of the best, and one of the most stressful! Nurse training should be easy after that, right? #ProudPracticeNurse

@louisebrady17 Aww, thank you, Louise! 😊 I love hearing from students who have always dreamed of being nurses and seeing them achieve it, but I think being unsure about it early on in my career keeps me driven to help people find their passion in nursing 🥰

I had an absolute blast @NursingLiveUK. It was a total honour to chair 3 amazing sessions, highlighting the nursing voice in general practice. I love promoting what we as nurses do best, and finally, meeting in person! @sarah_searz @NaomiBe44702921 @JulieRoye1

A huge congratulations to @westroadmedical for winning the Nursing in Primary Care award! The judges said it was a visionary and innovative initiative, which demonstrates that a nurse in the right place at the right time can make a big difference. #NTAwards
