@SkyNews I'm a housing officer. I already have a safeguarding duty. Pretty sure all public services do. This is a waste of time and money. What we actually need is more people responding to safeguarding concerns. It took all day yesterday to report a case to police and social services.

@dwnews I'm so sorry she experienced this. A lot of British people weren't treated here either. My grandmother was brought up in a workhouse, separated from her parents, hardly fed and made to work every day. Please don't blame all of us for what happened in the past.

@PippaCrerar My dad was dying on a day of a party. I was able to see him and his horrific death. There were 19 others in his home either dead or dying and 3 staff in ICU. Staff were collapsing in tears in corridors. Yet there was Boris partying and saying "let the bodies pile high". They did.

@gmeister @JYSexton It gets worse if you read into it. He prevented Ukraine attacking the Russian fleet (in Ukrainian waters). That fleet is still launching daily drones all over Ukraine, nearly a year later. Ukrainian government says he's responsible for tens of thousands of civilian deaths.

@JolyonMaugham It sure doesn't. I'm a housing officer and have started doing checks on how Ukrainian families are doing in my spare time. Half of my team is doing the same. The gov allocated us one officer part time but it's not enough to complete all the assessments safely.

@LBC @SangitaMyska I'm a homelessness officer. I speak to people in this poor man's situation or similar several times a day. The way Sangita looks is how I feel with every call. There's no way we won't be at least provide a tent and sleeping bag. I'll buy them myself if I have to.

@sophielouisecc My 91 year old (white if relevant to you) nan helped set up the carnival. Racial tension was awful in the area after the far right caused riots so the community wanted to do something to bring people together. I'm proud of her and Notting Hill for choosing love over hate.

@RobbieRinder I work for my local council and we've had many enquiries. The cutest one was from a couple in the 80s who want to host a family but we would have to warn the family they have a very friendly cat. Can't tell them anything as there's currently no government scheme.

@LBC @AndrewCastle63 Hounslow was full of Indian families even 50 years ago when he moved there. When he says "indigenous" he means white. Plenty of the brown people there are Brits. Hounslow had a lovely community. How can you live in a diverse area for 50 years and still refuse to talk to Indians?!

@MartinDaubney People have been saying that about London since medieval times Martin. It's much better and safer than it was when I was a kid in the 70s and 80s. Much cleaner, developed, more religious and cultural integration now. The only downside is now is how expensive housing is.

@LBC I'm a homelessness officer. None of my cases will be effected because none of them are "coasting". I do have people who have had disability payments agreed before they've had their hospital appointment though. Perhaps reducing the 8 million NHS waiting list would help?

@MartinDaubney No difference if it's arson or natural. Arsonists try to light fires every year and authorities can usually cope. The reason they can't this year is climate change has created unusually dry, hot conditions that enable fires to spread too quickly.

@doctor_oxford I went into my dad's care home, where 15 people were dying, 5 were in hospital and 3 staff were in ICU. 1am. It was silent apart from staff crying in the corridors. They just kept saying they were so sorry, they tried their best. I know they did. Boris was having a party that day

The TA provider is then immediately contacted. If complaints continue, I go and have a look. Also why are they still in TA since 2018?!
