I completed the Silver Release...I am almost speechless. P-06 is truly the greatest Sonic game of all time! ChaosX is a legend. This clip just about sums up my experience.
6 years ago in this exact same day, April 19th, the first demo of P-06 went public.
And we're back at it again, with Silver the Hedgehog.

For anyone who wants to download this cover and print it out for yourself...check this out! I had done the spine & back, myself. I modeled it after X3's box art. In fact, I erased the X3 copyright on the bottom right & used some of the other letters to make it say "And Bass"

I was thinking about Sonic P-06, as one does. If we get bosses one day...it would be so simple to make Silver vs Iblis 3 really badass if you just add some cool sounds and greatly reduce the load screens. Here's my proof of concept. I'm hyped just thinking of the possibilities.

I am genuinely curious. Has anyone ever beaten the Jak Trilogy on Playstation Vita? I haven't touched this in years, and I forgot how shockingly bad the performance was on this version. I feel like games must be borderline unbeatable.

Words just don't do justice to the unspeakable pain & suffering I have witnessed people experience as a result of his words/actions. But I am just glad the community has become a space where people can feel free to air the truth. Hopefully, nothing like it ever happens again.

I personally thought Origins was supremely overpriced for what content was there, and for being rushed. I still think that even with the Plus content, since it costs 10 dollars more and I don’t think it’s worth that. So I believe it’s an example of saying screwing a remaster.

Yeah, the image itself was from me. I had taken the concept art of the Negative Mother Wisp, applied a pseudo 3D rotation on it, and put on effects to make it look somewhat convincing. The background is Starlight Carnival zoomed way in.

Definitely agree. I like to play most older games on OG hardware/emulators over remasters and collections. But 7th gen is one where I just can’t. Those game look and play like ass. We traded performance for resolutions that could barely each 720p.

This exact thing happened with David Hayter & MGSV, + plenty of other big IPs in gaming. Doing this in the movie industry seems unthinkable, so it’s definitely a gaming issue, that publishers/developers don’t regard the voices as integral to building their iconic characters.

Not the most fair comparison, since the best selling Mega Man game of all time is barely compares to the worst selling RE game. RE games top Capcom charts every time. Mega Man is just not that popular.

Agreed. A lot of fans like the idea of the live action adaptation being a perfect replica of what the source was, when embodying the characters in every other respect is far more important in doing the story justice.

Yeah. Sort of related to this as well, I feel like a lot of fans claim they are tired of third person, story based games being oversaturated, when they don't actually care about this. They really just want mascot platformers to go back to being the default game genre.

I do recall them saying years ago that the next Mega Man game, as in not a collection, was in development. I don't have a source on that on hand, but I remember hearing that awhile ago. ZLC also seemed to really be teasing something. I don't know what happened though.

I don’t even think the 6th gen has aged that poorly, I look at it as the culmination of everything gaming had achieved thus far. By contrast, I guess you could say the 7th gen games are a significantly less evolved version of what we have nowadays.

that it’s a tense stealth action game with good resource management, exploration and decision making. So I don’t even agree with this take to begin with. And find the amount of people arguing that it’s not worth or doesn’t deserve it’s positive reputation to be totally unfair.

It’s nice that people still resonate with the DCAU videos, I made most of them so long ago, that I just think of how the approach has been refined over years. But the fact that people still enjoy those videos a lot is a good feeling for me.

My point was…why try different things at all when Sonic has already proven itself? I made TMNT videos because I wanted to, it happened to work out well. I made Spider-Man videos because I wanted to, it happened to not. I wanted to play Resident Evil games, results were okay.

Well that's the thing about Hall of fames or the congress library of movies or whatever. It pretty much a contest of being recognizable. TLOU changed the industry in a lot of ways, especially in regards to how the more casual audience perceives games.

I've never played it, I just used generic sound effects I looked up on YouTube. Wanted to use to takedown sound from Batman Arkham at first, but I couldn't isolate it. But, if there is some badass sound effect I am missing, send it over!

First, I can say those are legit X2 and X3 copies. But, I don't own Mega Man 7. Maybe someday, though. Side note, I am convinced that X1 might be fake though. It came in really perfect condition from a used store...but it doesn't boot.
