@JdA_IntLaw Pseudo-history. Jews are indigenous and fought British colonialism. Israel now fights Iran's colonial/genocidal expansion. Its defensive war for survival is the opposite of the Holocaust. Israel avoids harm to Arab civilians. Hamas loves both Arab martyrs and dead Jews.

Yes. Free trade is an important freedom, as I fear we are about to re-learn in the U.S. This is not inconsistent with appropriate non-protectionist regulation.
The word "freely" carries enormous, though underappreciated, significance also under domestic and international human rights law. Trade and investment restrictions are interferences with freedoms, property and equality, thus require a justification that is too seldom verified.
